Here are a couple of our favorite places to grab brunch in Livermore, plus a couple of nearby eateries in our neighboring towns to try out.
La Panotiq
This French-style café is one of just a few (it’s a local mini-chain), but it’s certainly also one-of-a-kind when it comes to the menu.
Chock-full of inspiring French fare, this is a place where you can get brunch in Livermore but feel like you’re in Paris! The GMO-free foods, fair-trade coffees, and spectacular patisseries are well worth adding to your brunch calendar.
Brunch options include standbys like French toast, house-made granola parfaits, and ham and cheese croissants. But with some true French flair, you can also order things like salmon puff pastry, vegetable tart, mushroom flan, ratatouille, risotto al formaggio, and polenta.
You’ll get the true essence of French-American fusion: the best ingredients yield the best brunch!
Denica’s Real Food Café
Owned by husband and wife duo James and Denica Freitas, this spot for brunch in Livermore features another flavor of fusion. The goal of the owners is to make you feel welcome and nourished every time you come to Denica’s. Which is easy, because natural, local and organic products are the rule.
This café features a little bit of Latin flair, with menu items like breakfast burritos and South of the Border options. You can also count on benedicts, pancakes, waffles, French toast, crepes, and artisan sandwiches, soups and salads.
If you really want a taste of Livermore, Denica’s is the place to go.
Blossom Bee Crepes
Located in neighboring Dublin, the Livermore Valley’s own Blossom Bee is a creperie fusion restaurant unlike anything else you’ve tried.
With an impressive menu of sweet and savory crepes (in generous portions!), all types of crepes are served all day. With a special twist—the owners are Thai! They offer exotic flavors and Thai crepes in addition to more expected varieties, and the menu includes an array of other Thai dishes.
The Press Artisan Café
Located in Pleasanton, The Press is worth a visit for its artisan breakfast and brunch options. You’ll find the expected items, but you’ll also find things like “coddled egg in cheese grits” and the Elvis Presley—a brunch sandwich with peanut butter, honey, bacon and banana.
We can’t think of a better indulgence on a getaway trip than brunch! The Purple Orchid’s tranquil atmosphere and restorative spa treatments will round out your relaxing retreat.
