Badger Cove Half Marathon 10K & 5K

Del Valle Regional Park is the treasure at the end of the rainbow for the Badger Cove Half Marathon, one of several near-St. Patrick’s Day Livermore events! From waterfront views under oak groves to panoramic vistas, the running courses will immerse you in the region\’s most beautiful vistas.
St. Patrick\’s Day in Dublin & Shamrock 5K Fun Run & Walk

The best way to celebrate St. Patrick\’s Day is in Dublin…California! Nearby Dublin\’s St. Patrick\’s Day parade and celebration, including The Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk, always makes it on Livermore events calendars. The fun continues at the post-race celebration, which features refreshments, entertainment and prize drawing!
Livermore Valley’s 7th Annual Barrel Tasting Weekend
March 19 @ 12:00 pm – March 20 @ 4:30 pm
Livermore is making a name for itself in the world of California wines, and the annual Barrel Tasting Weekend celebrates all we have to offer. You\’ll taste wines right out of the barrel, meet winemakers and more at 35 participating Livermore Valley wineries, and have a unique experience at each location.
Livermore Half Marathon
March 26
Combining two favorite types of Livermore events, the Half Marathon finishers celebrate with a well-deserved glass of wine from one of the 13 wineries at the Finish Line. In addition to a finishers medal, participants will take home a commemorative wine glass.
The 40th Cinderella Classic® & Challenge
April 9 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
This unique bicycle tour is for women of all ages and abilities winds through the region, including Amador, Livermore, Diablo and San Ramon Valleys. This is a wonderful cycling event that\’ll lead you through Livermore\’s gorgeous vineyards.
2nd Annual Livermore Valley Craft Beer Festival
May 14 @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Beer in wine country? Absolutely! Last year\’s event was so successful, we\’re doing it again this year. The Craft Beer Festival is an afternoon of great beer from 25-30 local breweries (unlimited pours), food from 6-8 vendors (small charge), and live music from 4-5 bands on two stages.

Livermore Rodeo
June 11 – June 12
The World’s Fastest Rodeo rides into town with an action-packed week of events. There’s a little something for everyone, from Queen and Princess competitions, a BBQ mixer, family night, Cowgirl Luncheon, and Buckin’ A Saloon, to the main event — the RODEO!!
2016 Alameda County Fair

Celebrate 18 days of The Spirit of Summer at Alameda County Fair, with the 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, Extreme Action Zone shows, big-name concerts, horse racing, and much more.

This is perhaps the brightest of Livermore events, with a fireworks display launched off of the top of the Parking Structure on Railroad Avenue.
Goodguys 30th West Coast Nationals

A “bucket list” destination of hot rodders across the country, this year is the 30th Anniversary of the Goodguys West Coast Nationals.
Festivities for registered participants kick off with Hot Rod Week – four days of guided tours in and around the Bay Area visiting automotive collections, rod shops and other interesting places! This big event also includes over 300 vendor exhibits, a huge Swap Meet & Cars 4 Sale Corral, Live Music Entertainment, Nitro Thunderfest Dragster Exhibition, Craft Beer Garden, Nightly Parties, a Model Car Show, Mini Engine Exhibit, a FREE Kids Zone, and so much more!
151st Scottish Highland Gathering & Games

The Caledonian Club of San Francisco’s Scottish Highland Gathering and Games have taken place every year since 1866. They have survived World Wars, earthquakes, economic depressions and Bay Bridge closures. Today, the Caledonian Club of San Francisco’s Scottish Highland Gathering and Games are the largest in the USA.
