The Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort & Spa in Livermore offers a break from the typical boardroom settings. Your team can break out, enjoy a breath of fresh air, and feel as if they are on a business “retreat,” not just another mundane meeting. We are a short distance from San Jose, Santa Clara, San Francisco, and the entire Bay Area.
We have two choices for meeting spaces.
- Board Room – Approximately 225 sq ft. This is a boardroom-style set up, ideal for groups of 10 or less.
- Olive Branch Event Center – Approximately 2300 sq ft., this space can accommodate up to 135 guests.
Not only do we have meeting space, The Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort & Spa features 10 quaint rooms as well with Corporate pricing available. A hidden gem, the resort is nestled amongst 21 acres of olive orchards in the Livermore Valley Wine Country. Each room includes a king-size bed, fireplace, free Wi-Fi, and a beautiful view of the countryside. All of our guests may enjoy use of our outdoor pool and hot tub, as well as a wine, olive, and cheese reception each evening. A plated breakfast is included each morning.
We are located just 2.5 miles from the main gate at Lawrence Livermore National and Sandia Laboratories, less than five miles from Historic Downtown Livermore, and just moments away from over 50 wineries in one of California’s oldest wine regions.

Olive Oil Making Process
Your team can take a break from the meeting space and get educated on the olive oil making process. They will be taken into the orchard and be shown the fruit, followed by a short video of the process, and finally a taste of the oil. Your team will experience the process from tree to bottle. This olive oil, named Handprints, is the purest oil that you will taste.
Wine & Cheese Hour
We can provide a wine and cheese hour after your meeting. We will pair choice local wines with Artisan cheeses and our olive oil.
Golf Outing
We are minutes away from two premier golf courses, Poppy Ridge and Wente Golf Club. We can arrange a 9 or 18-hole golf outing for your team.
